2010 Laughlin Economy Run
Nov 5th for the GCC to meet and Nov 6th -7th in Laughlin
Changes to the Hotel venue for 2010
There are big changes for this year’s economy. We will be finishing our run at the Avi Resort & Casino. It is located south of Laughlin off Needles Highway on Aha Macav Parkway .
When making reservations, please refer to the group name “Hudson Car Club of Southern California” and group code “GHUDSON: to ensure that you get the preferred rate. Reservations must be made no later that October 6, 2010.
Rates are:
Standard king or queen rooms in main hotel $53.00
Standard king or queen rooms in beach tower $64.00 (able to view cars on beach).
(Note: If you are one of those organized persons who already made reservations at the River Palms as usual, you will want to cancel those reservations if you will be staying in the new venue.)
GCC NOTE: Plans for the route for the Arizona group have not been finalized at this time. We will let you know ASAP.

September? – Heber: 2010-2011 Meet Season in Heber at the Silvia & Cliff McIntouch’s home. As usual there will be lots of fun and “Food”! More Information will be sent out as things are finalized.
October ? – Phoenix: The Annual Orphan Car Show
November 13 & 14 - Laughlin Economy Run. This is always a fun time with the GCC and several California Chapters. This year there will be a change of venue and route.Look for the new information soon! The GCC group will meet on the 12th - Location to be announced soon.
December 5th – Mesa – GCC Christmas Party. You won’t want to miss it!!
January ? - How about a southern AZ site or?
February ? – Buckeye – Jim & Margo Osborn will be hosting their 1st meet! More info later March ? – How about a northern or eastern AZ meet or? April ? - Avondale – Ande & Karen Lange will be hosting. More Info. later. HELP!! We need volunteers the host the January & March meets! Use your imagination and come up with something different! Do you have a "Cruise In" in your area or a special car show coming up? We could join as a group & show off our Hudson’s. Please let Tom Conner know what's happening in your area.
Westside - On Saturday Nights several GCC HET members go to a "Cruise In" at the Safeway Shopping Center on 83rd Ave & 1/2 mile N. of Beardsley on as many Saturday Nights as they can. Contact Tom & Lorinda Conner at 602-510-6144 , 602-510-6144 for more details. 4:00 - 9:00 pm.
Eastside - There is also a Saturday Night Cruise In in Mesa that the Robertson’s attend as often as possible. It's located in the K-Mart parking lot on E. Hampton Ave. @ 1/8 mi. east of S. Power Rd. (Hampton Ave. is between E. Southern Ave. and US 60) Cars begin showing up as early as 4:00pm. The Robertson’s usually get there @ 5:00pm.
